This is a great looking monument in front of a small old courthouse. The granite monument is about 22 feet high. It was erected by the L. G. Ireland GAR Post #118 in 1916 at a cost of $2580. It is located on 7th Street between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue. It is north of the business district in Sibley. The first two photos were taken 4/23/08. The final photo was taken 5/3/14 at a rededication ceremony with members of the SUVCW Kinsman Camp.
